Dilnoza from Uzbekistan completed a masters and PhD degree in the United States. She graduated from University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming with a doctorate in Literacy Studies. She said she that the strong support from university administration and sense of connection with other students inspired her work and success.


Aizada from Kyrgyzstan graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a Masters of Laws degree. Aizada’s story is an example of persistence. When she was accepted at Harvard University, she crowdfunded thousands of dollars in order to pay tuition to complete her master’s degree program.

Aigerim from Kyrgyzstan is an alumni of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. She studied at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Aigerim used her time abroad to volunteer in the community and experience more of American culture first-hand.
